Synopsis
Kim Ui-seok’s debut film After My Death drew attention thanks to Jeon Yeo-bin’s performance, which led her to win multiple awards including the Actress of the Year Award at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival. Young-hee’s friend is missing, and everyone is suspicious of her, so she has to prove everything herself. Jeon Yeo-bin’s portrayal of Young-hee is as extraordinarily lifelike as possible, which earned her popular praise. As well as Jeon Yeo-bin’s presented unparalleled performance, the ensemble of actors including Go Won-hee, Jeon So-nee, and Lee Tae-kyung, complete the realistic appearance of the teenage peer group, and are outstanding. After My Death reveals emotional scars that leave after-effects more than growing pain, sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes with a sense of calm.
