Adrenaline Ride

Hypochondriac

Synopsis

Will is a troubled gay artist with mental health issues. Having survived his mother’s attempt to kill him, he is able to carry on a normal life with his life-partner until he begins to receive odd packages and voice messages from his mother. What follows is his hallucinatory journey of paranoia, led by a demonic wolf giving him guidance. Based on Director Heimann’s own experiences, Hypochondriac is a character study of a troubled man trying to cope with his inevitable genetic code. Horror visuals with a demonic wolf symbolize the childhood trauma that torments him, traits that Zach Villa as Will provide with moving and candid performance in this deeply personal tale.
