Synopsis

Who am I? Can I exist as me when everything that keeps me disappears? Joung Yumi’s new film, House of Existence describes a person’s experience where the most solid thing he believes in slowly disappears, leaving him to ace his true self in the end, expressed through images of a gradually collapsing house. The film’s philosophical question and Joung Yumi’s elaborate black-and-white drawings stand out. (MO Eun-young)
