Synopsis

Yang Hoon, Suh Young-Choon, Kim Hee-Gap and Koo Bong-Suh are popular comedians who gave laughter to the audience in the 60s. Most of them are gone now and it is only Koo Bong-Suh who remindsus of the golden 60s. Director Shim Woo-Sup humorously creates situation in order to get Koo Bong-Suh hired as a Kisaeng(equivalent of a geisha). Furthermore it is one of the character’s lines(Huh Chang-Gang who plays a buffoon)that becomes quite popular at the time. “Oh, madam, its been a long time, give me a kiss, when the ship is in harbor, buying you a diamond is a piece of cake.”

Born in 1933, he was introduced into the Korean film industry, and later directed many comedies with various contemporary comedians such as Ku Bong-Shu, Shu Young-Chun.
