Synopsis
With a famous European movie star, Jean Reneau, who acted “LEON” and “VISITOR” and director Paul Wayland, who is well-known for his works in the popular BBC television series, ROSEANNA GRAVE is a tragic comedy shot by American and European film crews.
Mallechello is a small restaurant owner in Tulemento, a tiny village in Italy. Mallechello’s wife is suffering from an incurable disease and she wants to be buried nest to her daughter’s tomb at the town’s cemetery. However, there’s only three sites remaining. Mallechello works hard to reserve a burial site for his wife. He does everything from prolonging the lives of dying patients with frequent visits to the hospital to participating in anti-suicide movements. He even goes so far as hiding a corpse in his refrigerator. With humor and a bit of satire, this original dark comedy gives us a unique angle on the topic of death.
