Synopsis
A television documentary team consisting of three crew members – a producer, a director, and a cameraman – interview a young man on the topic of wire tapping. This shy interviewee talks timidly about his crimes, but the producers tenacious persistence draw a more sensational story. FOCUS is Satoshi Isaka debut film that questions the truth in TV journalism with a bold gesture. This pseudo-documentary attempts to tackle many topics, such as moral issues in mass media, the decaying minds of todays youth, and testing the boundaries between what is real and fictional in cinema. The audiences can expect a stunning performance from the leading actor, Asano Tadanobu, a famous young actor in Japan.
