Synopsis

To say a little bit of exaggeration, Chinese Food and Donuts talks about FATE, the power that governs mortals where their will cannot reach. However, what if this fate is not the usual tyrant as you might expect but some kind of refreshment to an ordinary, routine life? This episode whispers to us about an unexpected luck and the value of small happiness. A lonesome lady, the owner of a Chinese Food and Donuts shop cracks a fortune cookie from a jar as usual to soothe a lonely night. The message in the cookie says, "Love will walk into your life.... 46-42-43-62" This makes her heart throb. "What's going to happen today?" She feels like a teenager again trying to figure out what the numbers mean. And after passing through moments of frustration, we will sing odes to life after all.- How mysterious our life is! - Chinese Food and Donuts doesn't lead a burst of laughter. Instead, it makes a pleasant smile stay on our lips. The heroine reminds us of Cathy Bates. The look on her face which depicts 'the reversal of luck' in silence is impressive. (HONG Sung-Nam)
