Synopsis
A doctor creates a cavalier with all his might. The cavalier, instead of living in the grace of the doctor, starts out his journey into a new world. His adventure becomes a legend and the doctor reads the cavalier's story in a book and envies him. This film is a narrative depicting the growing up of a boy through adventures. This film is an experimental animation which is overwhelmed by a surrealistic atmosphere created by such sepia-tone objects like wood, iron, cloth and thread. The doctor has a weird head with hands and feet. The cavalier has a straw body and its head looks like an animal's. If the viewer doesn't concentrate on the scenes, he may easily suffer from difficulties in discerning who's who and what's what. Is it because, growing-up cannot be achieved without undergoing such a chaos? This film, by offering a rare visual experience to the viewers, invites them to think twice about growing-up.
