Synopsis
Watching a film sometimes makes one wonder how tired the movie characters must be. They die, get beaten up and get hurt by someone they love. Le film dont vous le heros is about a movie hero who rebels bravely against his role. Gerard is an ordinary worker whose life is boring and uneventful. Then something strange happens at Christmas - he realizes that he is a character in a movie. He finds the camera lens pursuing him and avoids it frantically. In one hysterical attempt he even resorts to shooting at the camera. Only when he gets a visit from Santa Claus, does he come to realize that the whole episode was product of his imagination. In this film, the director explores the complex relationship between the reality and the cinema. His humorous approach to the subject invites plenty of laughter throughout the film. (KIM Eui-Chan)
