Synopsis

On the surface, Beverly Hills teenager Bill Whitney has it all - good looks, nice family and money to burn. But lately, Bill's been feeling like an outsider, just not fitting in. He is starting to become very afraid by a strange foreboding. He should be since he is being pursued by a deadly beauty with body parts to spare and his parents threw a party for his sister where ritua sacrifice was the highlight of the evening. Now Bill has an invitation to be the guest of honor at a very special gathering of Society. But this is one party he might want to miss... In Society, members of high society are coldly portrayed as monsters in human disguise who maim and kill all those who dare to try to enter their world. Our hero must decide if he wants to fit in or take a nasty exit. "A weird allegory of class warfare that contains stomach-turning special effects." or "One of the most astonishing debuts" were the words spoken when this film first appeared on the scene. In Society, director Brian Yuzna, who's better known for works such as Re-Animator, The Dentist and for writing True Romance and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, gives new meaning to the expression "class struggle".
