Synopsis

There are different ways of remembering the dead, that person in your memory, lingering somewhere in the past. It is truer if the deceased was a prominent artist. The memories of working beside the man, the expressions of his face at a passing glimpse. Soon one's own self becomes reflected on the dead's face and it becomes harder to distinguish the myth and reality. For me, it is a mixed feeling of regret and longing. By filming a documentary film, I wanted to remember my father, buried deep in my subconscious-a man so foreign, even in my dreams I do not recognize him. An actor is dying to reveal everything about himself in front of the audience. Another actor is dying to conceal everything in front of the audience. This documentary is about such an actor, and with this documentary, I wanted to understand how a certain complex effects an artist, and the internal sufferings caused by it. (CHOO Sang Me)
