Synopsis

Imagine if you will, a movie. A documentary style movie with < The Blair Witch Project >, < The Truman Show > and a bit of voyeurism (in the vein of the 'Survivor' series) added into the mix. Wait, there? more. Some wedding videos, childhood home movies, and candid camera should be added as extra spice. But the ending must be melodramatic. Impossible, you say? In < Series 7 >, nothing is impossible. 'Series 7' of the TV show She Contenders? where 6 randomly chosen contestants must kill each other in order to win. And here are the contestants. The champion is Dawn, a pregnant lady who survived 'Series 6'by shooting her last opponent at a supermarket. The dare devil Jeff. Emergency room nurse, Connie, who now must kill rather than save. 18 year old, Lindsay who has the full support of her loving parents. Franklin, a 72-year-old lone gun man. And last but not least, the dark horse of series 7, the currently unemployed tough guy, Tony. These contestants fight for their lives in ?eries 7? For the new generation of filmmakers, the camera itself is the truth. But director Daniel Minahan also knows that the camera is a killer. < Series 7 > conveys this message with a very persuasive style. And a final reminder, in case you don't know, there is no such TV show called 'The Contenders'. Let us not be mistaken. (KIM Hyung-seok)
