Synopsis

The Indie rock band Crying Nut became famous while playing at live clubs near Hong-Ik University. They have performed their music in  mainstream Chung-muro films such as < Just do it! >, and < Kick the Moon >, but < Looking for Bruce Lee > is the first film in which they are cast in leading roles. When series of mysterious murders happen in their workplace and neighborhood Hong-Ik University district, Crying Nut's bassist HAN Kyung-rok sets off to find the killer by relying on a single clue a trace of Kung Fu star Bruce Lee at every scene of the crime. Some people call it the 'Bruce Lee Virus'.. The film does not focus on finding the killer. Instead, it focuses on the accidents and incidences of HAN Kyunh-rok and his friends in their adventurous quest to find the murderer. Kyung-rok, in the end, learns more about himself and the band members. As first feature film for director KANG LONE, < Looking for Bruce Lee > is an unclassifiable and experimental, depicted by sense of documentary, music video. The director pays tribute to his childhood hero, Bruce Lee. If you are a fan of Crying Nut and their music, this is one movie you should not miss.(Production Note)
