Synopsis
Letters about the Weather starts with the realization by the director who at one time was addicted to email about the development of technology and its implications to communication between people, that better technology does not necessarily enable better communication. Thus the future society is described in cold and dark blue tone that wishes to find comfort in a virtual reality decorated with loud and abundant primary colors, but the film emphasizes that an easy relationship devoid of direct connection to real life and formed electronically in a moment cannot replace a trembling of a touch of fingertips or human suffering within a drop of tear.
