Synopsis

All because of those darn pants caught up on the ankle-an that rowdy party. A film from Germany, is about a faint hearted young architect named Paul, who finds out a day after the party that his live-in girl friend is dead in his apartment, and his loyal friends who try to help him out from the confusion. At a party celebrating Paul and Rike's newly opened company's first order, Paul's lover Gabi accidentally trips over a man and crashes her head on the corner of a desk, dying as a result. Meanwhile, Paul overdoses on a drug and when he finds the body of his girlfriend, he realizes that it could have been he who killed her. Paul asks his doctor friend Max's advice, and they both agree on the principle of "no corpse, no murder" Rike, who is against the plot, nevertheless joins them, sometimes acting as Gabi. is similar to in that both films are about 3 people trying to hide a corpse, but it is also similar with the film in its sense of bizarre sense of humor. Although there are no explicit scenes of violence in the film, household appliances such as refrigerator, a kettle, mixer, saw, and toilet are all used in an unorthodox fashion, and slow witted customers interrupt their act of concealment. Of course, we can never forget the nosy neighbor who keeps a suspicious eye on the boys. Instead of bugging the viewer with moral dilemma, the 3 famous comedians entertain the views with lines like, "Can't trust today's meat" and scattering the lover's ashes while 'My Girl' is playing in the background.
