Synopsis

This is a story about a small town, ‘Boriwool’ and its dwellers ; a father and sisters of a cathedral, a buddist monk and children. Children of Boriwool unite for a soccer match against those from the other village. Although the father, sister, and the monk initially cannot reach an agreement about the pros and cons of holding a match, ultimately, as the film progresses, the three come to an understanding.

Born in 1957, Lee attended the Korean Film Academy after graduating from the Soongsil University Department of Commerce. Lee debuted with in 1995 and garnered much attention. However, Lee took a break from filmmaking because his next film, , was a box office flop despite its large-scale production . After a long rest, Lee has made a successful comeback with .
