Synopsis

tells the ‘true’ story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his ‘death’ then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack, a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.

As an independent movie director, Donm Coscarelli made his feature film debut with Jim the World's Greatest (1976). He then hit the big time with the 1979 release of the highly inventive fright thriller Phantasm. With it he created a "horror boom" in the 1970s and 1980s, winning numeroust awards at renowned film festivals across the world. Ohter notable works of his include Beastmaster (1982) and Bubba Ho-tep (2002).
