Korea2004 22min 35mm Color World Premiere

Synopsis

A bloody fingerprint that looks like it's coming to life. Su-in, an 18-year-old boy working at a printer's shop, is refusing to apply for a residency ID card. When a female regional office clerk takes interests in Su-in, his painful memory of the fingerprint starts to take hold of him once more. The clerk was the same woman who copied the sheet of an accusation form with a picture of Su-in beaten black and blue attached. The film focuses on the boy's scarred psyche and his fear in a form of a mystery, skillfully weaving a story in and out of his memories and the present. (Michelle SOHN)
