Wet Sand:Voices from L.A

Dai Sil KIM GIBSON

USA2004 59min Beta Color

Synopsis

This documentary film started with the confession of a Korean mother who lost a son during the 1992 Black riots. The film tries to discover the basis of racial trouble in the United States. Wet sand stays in the hand, but dry sand soon gets out of the hand. The film reflects the easily forgotten reality of American life. The film insists that appropriate self-reflection is the counter-plan to deep resentment.
