He asks Kim to play the piano according to the description. As the machine starts to make water from Kim's singing, thieves invade again. Surprisingly, the head of the thieves is revealed to be the foster father. As thieves get the machine, a tornado overtakes the lighthouse. Sara and Gaspal escape, aware of their love for each other, and the love is consummated. The next day, Kim recites a nursery song that he heard from his father in the broken lighthouse.
