Synopsis

A detective, Akiva, traces a supernatural phenomenon. He helps people who are being haunted by ghosts. He gets a request by e-mail. It is a helpful message from a ghost who cannot leave heaven. Kaguchuchi (named the spirit of fire) has the ability to see ghosts and a gun. He takes on the mission. He meets a girl who has an interest in him. She comes to him in order to be his assistant. Time goes fast and he faces his past. The more ghosts go to heaven, the more his memory comes back to him. When the 100th ghost goes into heaven, the locked memory is opened. He realizes why he has the Kaguchuchi and the reason for the accident a long time ago. The mystery of Akiva and Mikoto is unveiled in 9 episodes. The comic book series, Shigmizu Takasaki, is the original. It is the latest film directed by kadokawa, who is famous for Ring  and Under the Black Water. It is a detective horror film, but the horror is different. His previous horror movies were dynamic, but this film shows the classical and static fear through the slow turning of the scenes.

Diretor

Iwao TAKAHASHI

Born in 1963 in Kanagawa County. He had worked as Assistant Director in many films, but he personally directed the films The Temptress Legend; Seiren  and  Infinity~Battle on the Waves  as a freelancer in 1994. He also works as a scriptwriter, as well as a director, and he is evaluated as a director with a unique worldview on the screen.
