Synopsis

This film is a sequel of Ginger Snaps ¥°. Bridget, who had shared blood with her sister, becomes a werewolf. She tries to stop the change. She takes too much monkshood extract and goes into a coma, but she soon recovers and finds herself in a women's hospital. The head of the hospital thinks that the monkshood extract is medication and takes the injection from her, and she becomes worried about finding a treatment. A girl who reads a comic book is her friend. She finds out Bridget’s secret. She escapes from the monster's attack. As the girl’s identity is disclosed, the story develops the other way. The special effects are stronger compared to the first and the various characters are stronger and more interesting. The image of a wandering teenager and the part of unreasonable society are showed through Bridget, who shares blood with her werewolf sister. The last part goes into a new phase. The last dramatic reversal raises the interest in the film.

Brett SULLIVAN

In 1998 he wrote and directed his first short film, followed by in 1999, and The Promise, starring Gordon and Leah Pinsent, in 2001. Sullivan also attended the Director? Resident Programme at the Canadian Film Centre in 2001. Recently Brett has directed both for television series and 2nd Unit feature work. Ginger Snaps: Unleashed is his feature directorial debut.
