Born in 1979. After graduating as a French major from Korea University, he studied film production and direction for two years at the school of film of the Korean National University of Arts. He started his directing career with the film Blue Sea Under the Bed in 2001, and his third film, The Barb, was nominated at the Competition at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
