Synopsis

A part-time lecturer at a university goes to Paju to meet a teahouse waitress whom he got to know through the Internet. The place, Jeksengeub Pajusi, seems odd to him. A man that the waitress has rebuffed decides to take his revenge on her. The first step of the revenge is kidnapping. The second step onwards is strange. The film gives you the advice of an imperialist who wants to infuse civilization to undeveloped lands.

Diretor

KANG Min-Suk

He studied philosophy at Korea University and graduated in 1993. Afterwards, he entered the Korea Film Academy to study film and he graduated in 2005. Since his first 16mm film, Violence Club, his fifth directorial effort, A History of Insanity in the Age of Reason, was nominated at the Competition at the Bucheon International Film Festival.
