Synopsis
Sung-Ju, an owner of a company, falls in love with In-Seo when they first meet. In-Seo gets on a bus to go to Gang Eung for a special lecture. He is surprised at her for following him. He confesses that he has a burden in his mind. A woman is in his mind. Sung-Ju shouts for joy because the woman is a worker at a Geo-Jae shipyard. The film tells the story of In -Seo. When In-Seo arrives at the dockyard, he sees Hwa-Yean playing foot volleyball with some men. In-Seo comes to her, thinking of what to do with the money at the office party. He gives a piggyback to a drunken Hwa-Yean. A grandmother, a mother with palsy and Hwa-Yean live together in a house by the sea under the spread of a palm tree. She is a friend and a salvation to her mother, who leads a boring life and the distress of work. They are the most beautiful mother and daughter. One day, her grandfather gives her mother away in marriage to a crook to pay for a deed of land. Her grandmother doesn't know that, and is worried about her mother, who is getting thin. She hears that she is going to Tong-young. She meets her mother who leads a hard married life at her parents-in-law's home. She returns home sadly. Afterwards, he understands her, but Hwa-Yean rarely approaches him. In-Seo sees Hwa-yean, who is crying in the theater, and then makes a love to her. He consoles her, who is shamed of her parents. He takes her home after hearing the secret of the three women. After hearing the three women's pain and breakdown, In-Seo turns away.
