Synopsis
Wandering about in a desolate plain in New England, Haeckel enters an isolated hut. The owner cautions him that, no matter what he hears, he shall not leave the place. A baby's crying and dreadful hoarse voice sweeping the hut is getting the best of him. A negligent Haeckel ignores the owner's warning and goes out. What horrible tragedy would happen to him? Director John McNaughton won the raving review for Henry: A Portrait of a Serial Killer. Out of many films he's involved, Hackael's Tale is one of the horror films that stirred the widest controversy.
