Synopsis
When film was first invented, it was "moving picture." That explains why film began to build its identity in action. No doubt action has been one of the materials that it never ceases to love from the beginning of the history till this day. In the 1950s when color film was getting popular with the public, film makers wanted to accentuate colors on the screen, so it was these genres the film industry turned to: period drama, musical and animation. An action film, set in the French Revolution Era, Scaramouch, thus is one of the feature films that will show the changes in the film industry at the time. Another take away: pleasure and nostalgia to meet Stewart Granger and Eleanor Parker.
