Synopsis

"musical fairy tale" with both innocent and destructive elements. One day, a poor man is tasked with taking beautiful Princess Plum of a street sweeper who will marry a rich man to her wedding. But the vehicle broke down and a savage journey begins for him and Princess Plum: like Andersen's fairy tale of Henzel and Gretel, they roam through woods in New Zealand. Because all dialogues and sound track was pre-recorded before shooting, acting and shots were taken with the pre-prepared sound playing. A mixture of plot development and catchy songs, this one will leave lasting after images for two contrasting feelings, first of the cruelty and eroticism, then of innocence and utter weakness of the two main characters.
