Synopsis

A 95-min low-budget film. Onto a small island village in South comes a baby. Neighbors are not particularly happy with the baby for a myth. A deaf boy, who is bullied by his friends, meets a white turtle on beach. The lonesome boy is happy, spending time with this newfound friend, but the whole village is threatening their friendship, calling them devils. A film version of Joy Cowley's novel Silent One will move the heart of anyone who sees it. Set in a confined island, the film deals with the type of events that can occur everywhere. The highlight of the film makes you wonder how brutal people can be out of ignorance, just because they look different. At the same time, strong bonding and friendship between the boy and the turtle will plant a seed of hope for humanity in your heart.
