Synopsis
Finding what sets Metropolis apart from other films is not difficult: its strong visual contracts between light and shade, pioneering special effect, architecture- and style-sensitive stage framework, powerful depiction of "class conflict"and critical views on the Western civilization and the list goes on. Yet, the most outstanding virtue should be mythological visual effects. Today Metropolis, set in a depressing and cold city from the future, a human-like robot, an ill-intentioned scientist and a protagonist who seeks truth, is fundamental expression tools for SF movies. The master of the German expressionist film Fritz Lang made it in 1927. - Performer: Cha-sik Jung Vocal of Rainysun, Jung Cha-sik will be the performer for Fritz Lang's most widely known film, Metropolis. The members of the 1stalbum are playing together again, but for this time, only Jung Cha-sik alone will play. He is planning for grotesque and the-end-of-the-century electronic sounds with his uncanny vocal sounds. He will express the ultimate visual contrast of the film. He has involved in making original sound tracks for The Bird Who Stops in the Air and The Scissors.
