Synopsis
Siegfrid is the first half part of a film version of the German classic literature, Das Nibelungenlied. Sigfried, son of King Zigmund, starts off his journey at the news of his brother Gunther's death. Facing a dragon on the road, Siegfried kills him and becomes half-immortal, pursued by someone who wants to harm him. Siegfried is already a model for fantasy films filled with sword, magic, dragon and adventure, but it is now more known for Fritz Lang's aesthetical film style. - Performer: Lee Jaram, Lee Yuna, Jung Chong-im, Lee Myung-hoon, Cho Yoon-gyung, Kim Hong-sik, Lee Hywang-ha, Lee Soo-hyun and Bin Dong-joon Mythical imagination of Siegfrid is similar to Chang, the Korean traditional singing style, in many ways. The musician for Siegfrid will be Lee Jaram, a Korean traditional music prodigy who performs actively in different areas. She has made fusion music by putting into the Korean traditional musical tradition and her solo folk music concert is popular. Her film experience is the participation in the OST for Beautiful Woman.
