Synopsis
Against his wish not to feature Mr. Hulot any more, Jacques Tati didn't have much choice but to revisit him: it would have been impossible to raise fund without a star starring in a movie. So is how Tati's comic creation, Mr. Hulot returns to the screen as an absent-minded vehicle designer, who tries to transport his new ultramodern camper to Amsterdam for an auto show. But he faces an uphill battle. The transportation proves to be a very demanding one, and things start to get out of control and he counts on the police for their help. Tati's mastery is outstanding in bringing out beauty from colors and shapes in the modern society.
