Synopsis
A sequel to the masterpiece Ba Wong Kuen which was released in the early 1970s. In the latter, as villains are throwing hatchets at Ma Wing Jing, he dies covered in lime powder, breaking only the board of a bar that the villains own. In the hopes to revenge her brother's death, his sister enters the gangland. Overlapping the memorable last scene over his sister asking for the whereabouts of the villains, Ma Su Chen beings. The sequel disappoints many viewers when the supposedly dead brother comes back to live, but the action in the later part of the film is worth watching. A story about this independent fighter was made into Ma Wing Jing by Chang Cheh and the Hatchet faction in Stephen Chow Kung Fu Hustle is taken from Ma Su Chen.
