Synopsis
Filmed in color cinematograph, A Woman with Half Soul represents the trend of horror flicks popular in the early 19770s. Starring Hong Kong actress Ching Lee, then popular in Korea for Suzanna, as a leading female character, this film attempted to mix Korean horror film genre elements and exotic appeals of Hong Kong films. Director Shin Sang-wook's mastery and experimentation gives depth and dimension to this production. As a manager and director of the Shin Film Production, Shin appealed to the international market with his interpretation and sensitivity. And he started the joint production with Show Brother Production of Hong Kong. This may be a chance to find out how brilliant a director Shin was, who was in the horror genre.
