Synopsis

Midsummer Dream won the animation award of the well-respected 2005 Goya Award. Inspired by Shakespeare's Midsummer Dream, the film brings out interesting characters that travel the magical world that they have long forgotten. Helen doesn't believe in magic, but for her father, she anyhow needs to embark her journey to the world. What is waiting on their journey toward the world of dream?

Producer and Director of the 3D Feature-Length films “The Living Forest” (2001) and “Midsummer Dream” (2005), and multimedia “El artista virtual”, “Bicho” and “Quick Magic” as well as Producer of the animation Short Film “Bicho, menudo mundo”.

Àngel de Cruz

A Coruña (Spain), 1963. Director of two 3D Animation Feature-Length films “The Living Forest” (2001) and “Midsummer Dream” (2005). His first job in the film business was as an Art Assistant in the film “Tirano Banderas” (J.L. García Sánchez, 1993). Scriptwriter and Director of three short films “Sitcom Show” (1996), “Paranoia Dixital” (1997) y “Aínda más Difícil” (1998). He is now immersed in the preparation of his first real image Feature-Length film “Los Muertos van Deprisa”
