Synopsis

Looking for condoms, a man is embarrassed because a group of supermarket clerks surround him and call out to him to buy their product. Will he be able to go back to his place and the beautiful lady waiting for him?

Wojciech Lorenc

Wojciech Lorenc came to the U.S. from Poland in 1997. After living for a year on the west coast he moved to Chicago where he found a friendly and enthusiastic independent film community. Since then he has written and directed over a dozen of short films utilizing a variety of mediums (DV, HD, 16mm, Super16, 35mm). His shorts were screened in festivals nationally and won awards in the local showcases. He has also written a number of short and feature length screenplays. In May of 2002 his feature length script titled “Creator” was chosen one of the five finalists in the “Written Image” Screenwriting Competition. In 2003 he created a television pilot shot entirely in Chicago.

Wojciech is very active in the Chicago independent film scene. He was an initiator and a co-founder of Independent Film and Video Chicago (www.ifvchicago.com) – an organization dedicated to supporting indie filmmakers. He also initiated 'Screen-2-Stream' - a monthly screening that showcases independent shorts and also features discussions with the filmmakers.

His passion for cinema finds an outlet in both making and teaching film. Wojciech is an instructor in one of the biggest visual arts schools in U.S. – Columbia College Chicago. He also works as a freelance director, editor and cinematographer. His work appears on PBS, PolVision (Polish TV Station in Chicago), and in other outlets.
