Synopsis

A young, beautiful woman marries a guy whom she has dated only two month, against her mother’s wish. The couple stays in an old hotel for their honeymoon, and the newly wed bride learns that their future will be a miserable marriage from the radio.

Barney Lichtenstein, M.A., has worked as a story analyst for Amblin Entertainment, Imagine, Largo Entertainment, New Line, New World (founded by Roger Corman), and Sundance Institute. He has served as story editor for the Peabody award winning documentary Voices and the multi-award winning installment of West 42nd Street, aired on the PBS series P.O.V. Having taught story analysis for over a decade in the screenwriting program at UCLA Extension, he has trained a number of story analysts who have gone on to work for major production companies. He is the first American to conduct extensive workshops revealing the Hollywood development system to the Japanese film and television industries, and has led seminars for Women in Film and L.A. Screenwriting Expo, the world's largest annual convention for screenwriters, where he has been chosen as a star speaker. He is currently completing a groundbreaking textbook on screenwriting. Honeymoon’s Over marks his debut as writer/director, with a rough cut screened to an enthusiastic test audience at Screenwriting Expo 4 in Los Angeles, November, 2005.
