Synopsis
Based on a novel by Yamada Futaro. Shinobi centers on the drama resulting from the war between two ninja clans with some 400-year history in the early part of the Tokugawa era. Oboro and Gennosuke, who belong to each of the two rival ninja clans but are in love with one another, are trying to stop the conflict which will end only when one of the two clans is completely annihilated. However, despite their efforts, they are chased into an impasse. Shinobi is a fantastic action period piece that stars all the famous Japanese actors including Odagiri Jo and Nakama Yukie.
