Synopsis

Jacob's sister Julie who became disabled after a failed suicide attempt declares that she will marry a man whom she met on the internet. However, Julie's found to be hung dead on a rope on her wedding day. And the grieving groom vanishes. Jacob is disturbed by the oddness of his sister's death and tries to discover the truth. His suspicion becomes even greater as he finds out one coincidence after another that are simply unbelievable. This psychodrama leads audience into a strange and bizarre atmosphere.

Jannik Johansen

Born 1965, Denmark. Apprenticeship in filmmaking at Per Holst Film in the late eighties, thereafter directed and edited television productions and short fiction. During the nineties he wrote and directed a number of short fiction films. Made the short fiction 'A Quiet Death', awarded by the National Art Fund. Technical director on the box-office hit 'En kort en lang'/'Shake It All About' (2001). Johansen's feature film debut, the boxoffice hit, 'Rembrandt'/'Stealing Rembrandt' (2003), won Best Acting Ensemble for the male leads at Courmayeur Film Noir Festival in Italy.
