Synopsis

Late at night, Ming Fu drives to his china warehouse. In front of the warehouse, he witnesses a shocking death. His old and close friend was burning to death. He was Ming Fu's close friend with whom he grew up together at an orphanage. After witnessing the death of his friend, Ming Fu experiences hallucination. Due to the fear and hallucination, he is utterly confused. Then an attractive and smart manager approaches Ming Fu. However, the hallucination becomes more serious, and problems occur at the china doll factory. Jiabei Zhang is a Chinese director that studied film in Japan. Clay Fear crosses over horror and thriller, an attempt that has been rarely seen in previous Chinese movies.

Jiabei Zhang

Born in 1957 in China, he went to Japan to study film, where he directed The Insider in the Kabuki World, The World of the Director Zhang and The silent Thing. He is currently working as a director/producer at 'Tokyo Cinema & TV.'
