Masters of Horror Episode 3 : Dance of the Dead

Tobe HOOPER

USA200659min Beta Color

Synopsis

Directed by Tobe Hooper who emerged as a star director of horror films with a single movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Since then, all of his work has been supported by the audience regardless of what their takes are on Texas Chainsaw Massacre thanks to strong individuality that his movies demonstrate. Tobe Hooper prefers a sci-fi style that seems particularly grotesque and cheap. Dance of the Dead is also quite grotesque as if to reflect the director's such weird preference. The scene where corpses who had electric shock dance gives goose bumps to viewers.
