Synopsis
"In the course of defeating a group of bullies who have given him a hard time, a boy loses what he cherished and agonizes in such frustration caused by a sense of loss. We tend to look back on ourselves when we realize we have lost something in our everyday lives. We contemplate on the past and present and the meaning of our existence. With Never Belongs to Me, I tried to tell a story about this contemplation," says Director Nam Ki-woong. The director shares his ideas with a unique method of blending a black comedy with techniques used in science fiction movies. This film is a precious piece that the Korean independent film industry has been recently blessed with.
