Synopsis

A Sydney based cyber crime investigator Phillip discovers a web site 'Feeder X,'for people who have a fetish for overweight women, that is actually leading people to die from force-feeding. Phillip arrives in Ohio, U.S., after tracking down the owner of the site from his server, and confronts the man behind the psychotic killer fetish web site, Michael. What confuses Phillip is not so much the calm Michael, who shows no signs of remorse or shame for his obsession, but rather himself, as he is faced with his own inner struggles after having encountered so many scenes of weird sexual subcultures.
Feed is probably one of the most debated films at PiFan this year, given that it's based not only on a sadomasochistic theme but a hardcore fetish one about controlling the most basic needs of survival, the body and food, for sexual pleasure. The images of absurdly overweight women in the film are especially grotesque, but the greatest horror in the film comes from the uncertain line between what is considered normal and abnormal. Can we label something as normal or abnormal? Can I say for certain that I'm within the realms of normality? Feed  is out there to provide us, as we live in our own comfort zones, with a little shock therapy, once we bring down those barriers and start questioning ourselves. (Jin PARK)
