Synopsis

A group of strangers sign up for an hour-long tour of the Ultra Studios. They take a red bus, and an eccentric, elderly tour guide shows them the sight, including the infamous “House of Horrors” used in director Desmond Hacker’s notorious 1960’s thriller . Seven strangers are trapped inside the "House of Horror" and forced to tell their most terrifying personal stories to get out alive.

In 1978, he directed his first feature, Piranha, followed by The Howling (1981). Spielberg hired him to direct his big budget scary movie Gremlines (1984). At his best, Dante manages to capture in his work the wonder-and humor-of 1950s and 1960s movies that first turned him on.

Ken RUSSELL

He began the director by making several short films that are acclaimed for his attention to detail and opulent visuals. Women in Love (1969) was a triumph and he became an internationally known filmmaker. In the 1970s, his talent truly blossomed. Over the next 2 decades, he would direct a succession of remarkable films.

Monte HELLMAN

Born in 1932, he is an American film director, producer, and film editor. Monte is widely credited as the man who discovered Quentin Tarantino, as Monte brought Quentin to Sundance to workshop RESERVOIR DOGS, which Monte executive produced. In 2006, he directed Stanley's Girlfriend, a section of the omnibus horror film Trapped Ashes. Hellman's section of the film was presented by the Cannes Film Festival as an 'Official Selection' and Hellman was named president of the Festival's 'Un Certain Regard' jury. Road to Nowhere were a compete work for the Golden Lion and he was awarded with a Special Lion Award for Overall Work at the 67th Venice International Film Festival. He currently teaches in the Film Directing Program at the California Institute of the Arts.
