Synopsis

In 1945, Japanese remnants confronted with approaching defeat visit a gold mining town to pry the location of hidden gold out of townspeople, putting them to torture. Dong Hyeok and Ye Ji's father are shot in the course, leaving Dong Hyeok blind and Ye Ji a father-less child. Years later, their unexpected reunion is turned into a vow for revenge in search of Hayasi, their common enemy. PARK No Sik is the sole actor entitled with the name of 'action hero' throughout the Korean film history. Since 1971 with Quit Your Life, he started directing movies himself and produced 14 features in total. Action characters performed by Park No Sik had names of Shanghai Park, Madoros Park, and Yongpal, ranging from a gentleman like James Bond to a country bumpkin. Personally, the movie is still impressive with uncomparable action styles such as catching an arrow shaft with a bare hand or repulsing enemies with walnuts. While the story has grounds in Tokyo, it was shot in Korea. Enjoy the 'Little Bridegroom' KIM Jung Hoon's appearance as boy Dong Hyeon. (Jin PARK)
