Taking this opportunity, Ji Suk and Anna stay together and Ji Suk is gradually impressed by Wan Bae's hospitality. Directed by KIM Soo Yong in 1968, Correspondent in Tokyo is an archetypal feature of spy movies massively produced during the 60s and 70s along with the popularity of 007 series. Tokyo in those times was not only a symbolic cosmopolitan of Asia in consort with rapid growth and westernized modernization but also a place where ideologic tensions between North and South Korea were present. With high-budget Tokyo location and starred with top actors including SHIN Sung Il and YOON Jeong Hee, the movie brings in the spectacles exclusive to spy features. (Jin PARK)
