Synopsis
A loner since his childhood, Mr. Sorry is a earwax cleaner. He has a diverse range of customers such as a gangster leader to entrepreneur, but none of them care about Mr. Sorry. One day, a notedly picky fortune teller comes to the shop and Mr. Sorry happens to satisfy her. Suddenly he becomes the best employee of the shop. However, Mr. Sorry finds that his body is shrinking to the size of a bug, small enough to enter earhole of his customers.
Based on the short novel with the same title published in t"the hunter of finger stamps" in 2005 by singer LEE Jeok, The story of Mr. Sorry is an animation produced by the Korean Academy of Film Arts and directed by LEE Sung Kang, the director of Yobi, the Five Tailed Fox and other 5 co-directors. Shrunken into a tiny spiker, Mr. Sorry reminds of the classic SF movie the Incredible Shrinking man and invites audience to the world of magical fantasy. The eccentric touch and color of the animation delivers delicate emotions and edgy social criticism.(Jin PARK)
