Synopsis

This outstanding feature omnibus animation with fresh experimentation and innovative style takes the capacity of animation up a notch. In a remote forest, a man walks with four ferocious demonic dogs. He bumps into a boy. And the moment the man's grip on the leash loosens, one of the dogs leaps onto the boy, attacking him. Now, the story races toward a collage of terror-smeared recollections: a man eaten up by a monstrous insect when he was a child; a girl's never-ending nightmare associated with a beheaded Samurai; bizarre missing cases from the childhood and the haunting memories of them; a man trapped inside an empty house and the terror of death. In the meantime, the killer dogs escape their owner's grip one by one to devour passers-by. Adopting different style and format for each segment that together comprises the whole film, Fear(s) Of The Dark unveils the extreme of human terror and nightmare, against #999999-and-white screen and dark, gloomy atmosphere.
