Life in the Park

MOON So-hyun

Korea2016 14min

Synopsis

Life In The Park embodies the insecurity in everyday lives that people face living in the civilized space using the style of the unique clay animation and the sound revealing the nervous anxiety.

Program Note

People take their dogs out for a walk through a forest full of cloudy dust. But it is far from a comfortable walk. The atmosphere is tense and it surrounds us like the collar of the dog’s neck. The work inspired by the strange scenery that the director observed while taking a walk in the park captures the anxiety of everyday life in the space of civilization through its unique characters and neurologic sound. It’s a remarkable clay animation with an excellent visual beauty and unique style. (MO Eun-young)
