Synopsis

Sukma, a young journalist just got home and exhausted, fell asleep. Only to experienced a haunting presents from an unknown diabolical spirit. But even she couldn't tell, whether she's really asleep or not this whole time.

Program Note

Terrified by a strange phenomenon at home, the protagonist in Sleep Paralysis: A Demonic Visitation feels helpless as he doesn’t know if it’s a dream or reality. This central character is a journalist who has to meet a deadline for writing an article on missing children. The final scene explores the fact fear is created within, which might come as a relief to some shocked viewers
but for people who work to deadlines, the ending might be quite horrific. (HWANG Hye-min)

Amriy Ramadhan is a self-taught director. He has won a few national and local short video and music video contests, and even some of National and International short film competitions since 2011. He is to continue on his journey as a director of horror films.
